Student officiates NFL Flag Bowl championship game

For this yearโ€™s NFL Flag Bowl championship game, four officials were selected from the best of the best across the country, and one of those four was University of Georgia student Nuri Troy.

Sorority alumnae establish endowed scholarship

More than 100 alumnae of the University of Georgiaโ€™s Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., gave a total of over $50,000 to establish the 1973 Eta Xi Alumni Association Inc. Georgia Commitment Scholarship, which will provide need-based aid to UGA students in perpetuity.
