On Saturday, March 28, UGA Miracle announced it raised $1,402,031.26 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at its 31st annual Dance Marathon. More than 2,000 students, faculty, staff and community members gathered in Stegeman Coliseum to celebrate one of the University of Georgia’s largest student-run organizations and its continued commitment to children’s health.

The University of Georgia’s Interfraternity Council is taking a proactive approach to mental health by providing QPR suicide prevention training to all new members. By offering career connections, scholarships, and community engagement, the SVRC helps veterans transition smoothly to campus life and find belonging at UGA. As student veteran Elias Gandy shared, “Here at UGA, it’s one big family—just like my time being in the military.”
Sigma Delta Tau’s SDT Greek Grind raises funds for Prevent Child Abuse America through a spirited dance competition involving all Panhellenic sororities. The sorority also supports local causes, strengthening community ties. Through philanthropy, Sigma Delta Tau fosters sisterhood and makes a lasting impact both nationally and locally.
Serving as an Orientation Leader at the University of Georgia is a challenging yet rewarding role that helps ease the transition for thousands of incoming students and their families each summer.
