The Installation of Alpha Xi Delta  

The Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta recently hosted their Installation ceremony on Sunday, February 18, 2024. This chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was originally installed in 1960 at the University of Georgia. Alpha Xi Delta is one of the twenty sororities that comprise the Panhellenic Council.

Dalma Arteaga Rosales is a third-year triple major (Supply Chain & Operations Management (Terry); International Affairs (SPIA); Portuguese (Franklin)). She is passionate about building community on campus-- specifically with those who are globally minded.

UGA Staff Makes History in Flag Football   

The University of Georgia’s Ramsey Student Center staff—members including Caroline Caplinger, Stephanie Calhoun, Jason James, and Marty Mullis-- have had notable involvement in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Women's Flag and Men's Tackle Football State Championships in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

UGA Students Celebrate Black History Month

February 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month, a national observance when Americans recognize and reflect on the contributions and resilience of African Americans throughout U.S. history to today. The University of Georgia marks the month with celebrations of those, specifically current and former students, for their brilliance, perseverance, and strength.

Wisnu Pradana is seeking ways to understand others. As a language and literacy educator and doctoral student in the Mary Frances Early College of Education, Pradana aims not only to educate but also support students from all backgrounds.

Welcome UGA events to kickoff the Spring 2024 semester

Welcome UGA continues its campus-wide celebration into the new year for incoming and returning students. Various departments and organizations hosted not just events, but opportunities to connect with students as they begin a new semester - fostering a sense of belonging for them on campus.

UGA student leads installation of AED devices in fraternity and sorority houses

Boonstra Elliott, UGA student and member of Chi Phi fraternity, is leading an initiative to install Automated External Defibrillator (AED) devices in 19 Panhellenic sorority houses and 23 Interfraternity Council (IFC) fraternity houses.
