Bryan Gomez, a University of Georgia pharmacy student, credits a Recreational Sports Outdoor Rec backpacking trip with sparking a passion that changed his life. What began as an uncertain first-time adventure turned into confidence, growth and a love for the outdoors that continues to shape his outlook on life.
Four years ago, Nick Bohn needed something that would make a campus of 40,000 students feel smaller. He found his place at the Ramsey Student Center, where he would spend the next four years working and building community.

Sigma Delta Tau’s SDT Greek Grind raises funds for Prevent Child Abuse America through a spirited dance competition involving all Panhellenic sororities. Brady Hawkins, a first-year student at the University of Georgia, found his most meaningful college experience through Dawg Camp, a program that helps incoming students connect and adjust before classes begin. After attending as a camper, he returned as a counselor to guide others, building community and growing as a leader in the process.
