University of Georgia Introduces Virtual Tour of Residence Halls

University Housing at the University of Georgia proudly unveils its latest innovation: a state-of-the-art virtual tour offering prospective students and their supporters an immersive exploration of its 23 residence halls wherever they are.

Sponsored by UGA’s Well-being Resources, the event raised $54,894, brought 809 walkers together, and was ranked #1 in the campus walks across the nation.

Matthew Nyaaba, a second-year Ph.D student in Teacher Education and Elementary Education in the Mary Frances Early College of Education is this year’s Saeeda Peermahomed Award recipient. The award is given annually by International Student Life to recognize outstanding international students.

The University of Georgia honored five students on Tuesday who heroically jumped into action to save a woman and two children after the woman’s car veered into a creek in rural Burke County.
