UGA hosts Family Weekend starting Nov. 6

The University of Georgia is hosting Family Weekend from Thursday, Nov. 6 through Sunday, Nov. 9. The weekend will be packed with all the fun fall festivities UGA students experience on a daily basis. Families are invited to visit their Dawgs and participate in tailgates, tours, concerts, games and more.

The weekend will be filled with activities including a welcome reception hosted by President Jere W. Morehead, campus tours, football tailgates, UGA sporting events and a family movie and game night.

The Bulldogs will play Mississippi State away this weekend, and a tailgate will be offered to all families and students.

Food and refreshments, including Southern-style brunches, game-day barbecue and food trucks will be provided throughout the weekend. Families will also be given UGA swag bags.

UGA to redevelop Legion Pool, Legion Field to better serve and support students
