On Sunday morning, UGA Miracle, the University of Georgia’s largest student-run philanthropy, announced it had raised $1,167,175.22 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I am emboldened today to envision an even brighter future for students at UGA – a future of increased student engagement, of improved student health and well-being – a future where we anticipate student needs even more fully, target resources and services even more closely, utilize our amazing people and resources even more effectively – a future where students will have the skills, mindsets, resources and support to be well and flourish across their time at UGA and far beyond, so they can reach their fullest potential.
