Thrive at Georgia program helps scholars transition to college
Fourteen incoming students kick-started their college career this summer through Thrive at Georgia: Bulldog Bridge, a weeklong residential program designed to help students feel prepared, connected and excited about their first year at the University of Georgia.
The program, held on UGA’s campus from July 25 to Aug. 1, introduced the students to college life, blending campus exploration, community building and classroom learning.
Organized through a partnership between the Office of Instruction and the Division of Student Affairs’ department of University Transitions, Thrive at Georgia combined portions of Dawg Camp with learning activities organized by the Office for Student Success and Achievement.
