The University of Georgia’s Interfraternity Council is taking a proactive approach to mental health by providing QPR suicide prevention training to all new members. Through a partnership with Student Care and Outreach, IFC leaders are helping break stigma and equip hundreds of students each year with the tools to recognize crisis and guide peers to help.
On Dec. 12, the University of Georgia will welcome its newest alumni as 1,649 undergraduate and 1,585 graduate students — a combined total of 3,234 — have met requirements to participate in the university’s fall Commencement ceremonies.

Revitalization of Legion Field latest project to improve key area of campus. Preliminary design options include terraced and hillside seating that could accommodate up to 1,100 seats, with standing room for another 3,500 people.
The department of Greek Life, in partnership with The Blood Connection, hosted the campus blood collection, inviting students to donate and support local and regional blood needs. UGA recorded 268 donors, including 223 completed donations, with 188 first-time donors and 80 returning donors.
