UGA fraternity helps with post-Helene cleanup

On Oct. 6, eight students from the University of Georgiaโ€™s Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity traveled to the Augusta area to help with the storm recovery. They trimmed limbs, cleared yards and provided comfort and support.

Amanda Fishman named director of Parent and Family Engagement

Amanda Fishman, previously the director of education and programs for the executive office of Alpha Delta Pi, has been named director of Parent and Family Engagement at the University of Georgia.

Hundreds of students serve the Athens community

On Sept. 21, more than 500 University of Georgia students participated in Dawg Day of Service, UGAโ€™s largest annual day of student-led community service. Celebrating its 11th year, the event set records for the number of participating students and service sites, highlighting studentsโ€™ growing commitment to community involvement.
