Biographical Info
Dr. Al Clarke has been with the health center since September 1996. He received his PhD from Georgia State University. His current clinical interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supervision, adjustment and stress disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse, and mindfulness.

Favorite Quote: In my therapy work with students, I appreciate the words of Ram Dass to “Be Here Now” and the initial words of the Serenity Prayer written by Dr. Reinhold Niebur, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
What I am Happiest Doing Outside of Work: When not working at CAPS, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and outdoor activities including hiking, bicycling, running, swimming and playing golf.
