With more than 40,000 students, the University of Georgia offers numerous opportunities to connect and become a part of many communities. UGA boasts thousands of programs, more than 800 student organizations, and daily events.
Starting college marks a major transition point in a student’s life. Nicole McConnell and her team are here to help make that transition as smooth as possible.
As the University of Georgia prepares to welcome all students back to campus, many organizations within the university are pouring their efforts into welcoming the Class of 2026 into the traditions and lifestyle of UGA with events kicking off Aug. 13.
Celebrate the Class of 2022 on Friday, April 29 from 11:00am – 2:00pm in the Tate Plaza. Free food and giveaways provided.
Nicole McConnell has been named director of Student Transitions at the University of Georgia. McConnell will play an integral role in helping students have a positive transition through their university experience.
It is very special to be a new student at the University of Georgia, something only a few thousand Bulldogs get to experience each year. But it is a truly unique experience to be one of the approximately 150 spring semester enrollees that began classes this January.
