2024 Student Government Association Election Results
Provide ticket elected to top SGA posts
University of Georgia students have elected the Provide ticket to the executive branch of the Student Government Association for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ticket consists of President-elect Rock Rogers, Vice President-elect Stephen Amolegbe Jr., and Treasurer-elect Lauren Baker.
Rogers is a third-year student from Dublin, Georgia majoring in history. Amolegbe is a third-year student from Kennesaw, Georgia, majoring in management information systems. Baker is a third-year accounting major from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The Provide ticket’s campaign platform centered on providing every student the chance to have a unique and fulfilling campus experience by lowering barriers and increasing opportunities for a diverse set of experiences at UGA.
The SGA inauguration ceremony of the 37th Administration and Senate is scheduled for April 4 at 5 p.m. in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall.
During the 2024 SGA General Election, 5,880 students voted. The Provide ticket won with 4,226 votes over the Action ticket’s 735 votes.
