STUDENT AFFAIRS DATA & RESEARCH
SUBMIT A DATA REQUEST
Student Affairs employees who need access to student information for business purposes can submit a data request form. Please allow at least 7 business days for your request to be completed.
Data users must be FERPA certified for the current academic year. More information on FERPA Certification is available here.
REQUEST RESEARCH ASSISTANCE
Faculty, staff, and students at UGA and other institutions who are interested in researching a student population associated with or directly served by one or more departments in Student Affairs can submit a request for research assistance.
Research assistance could include:
- Partnering with a Student Affairs department to design and implement a research study
- Aggregate data for a population or sample of students
- Advertisement of your research to a student population directly served by Student Affairs (examples include: resident advisors, students with registered disabilities, student veterans)
Requests go through an approval process that can take up to 10 business days to complete. Accepted projects demonstrate an impact on a Student Affairs department and/or student populations served by Student Affairs.
Student Affairs is not permitted to provide lists of email addresses to researchers external to UGA.
