Virtual Cooking Class: Pesto Pasta Salad

March is National Nutrition Month!

Join us for a series of virtual cooking classes led by department of Health Promotion dietetic intern and graduate student, Jess. Jess will show you how to prepare simple but delicious recipes. Participants will supply their own ingredients and cook along at home.

Register on the UGA Involvement Network: March 18 – Pesto Pasta Salad

Participants will need to supply the following ingredients:

  • 16 oz box rotini pasta (optional: choose whole wheat)
  • 1 container cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 ribs celery, diced
  • 1-15 oz can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 jar basil pesto
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, garnish
  • Equipment needed: knife, saute pan, spatula, utensils, stove, microwave, measuring cups/spoons
