Stand-up comedy is a lot like skydiving. People want to try it but nobody wants to jump unless they know their parachute will open! Learn the theories, techniques, and principles that professional comics use as their parachute. Students will practice their craft in class before moving to the stage, where everyone will have an opportunity to become a star and perform their short stand-up routine in front of a virtual live audience.
This comedy class will meet over zoom starting Thursday, March 18, from 7-8:30pm for 5 weeks with the final performance taking place in week five. Participation will be limited to 15 participants and is open to both students and faculty. *Registration will close after the first class on March 18.
Please call 706-542-8690 to register.
