Our culture has a complicated relationship with food, exercise, and body image. Over 30 million Americans will struggle with an eating disorder in their lifetime.
Join our third annual spoken word event on February 24 at 7:00pm on Zoom for an exploration of the impact of body image, eating disorders, and disordered eating on our UGA community members and spread hope that healing is possible and support is available.
Join in: https://uga.campuslabs.com/engage/event/6666237
We invite you to share your story about body image struggles, disordered eating, recovery, identity, mental health, gender, sexuality, race, privilege, and class.
Do you have a story to tell?
If you have an experience you want to share, submit your poetry, short story, or music with us.
(Before submitting, please keep in mind that each performance will be limited to 7 minutes.)
Deadline for Submissions: February 19, 2021
