Our culture has a complicated relationship with food, exercise, and body image. Over 30 million Americans will struggle with an eating disorder in their lifetime. This year during National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, individuals all over the country are telling their stories of body image struggles, disordered eating, recovery, identity, mental health, gender, sexuality, race, privilege, and class.
Join our conversation on February 27 at 6:00pm in Tate Theater for an exploration of the impact of body image, eating disorders, and disordered eating on our UGA community members and spread hope that healing is possible and support is available.
