Join the LGBTRC for Lunch with Leaders with Anneliese A. Singh (She/Her/Hers). Anneliese is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Diversity and Equity in the College of Education at The University of Georgia. Meet in Adinkra Hall to learn more about Josie’s coming out story, her career, and more.

Anneliese’s research has focused on the resilience that trans people develop in order to navigate societal oppression. Dr. Singh is a co-founder of the Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, which works at the intersection of heterosexism, racism, sexism, and other oppressions and founder of the Trans Resilience Project, focused on sharing trans research findings related to resilience with trans communities for social justice change. Dr. Singh is a South Asian, multiracial queer American. She passionately believes in and strives to live by the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s beloved community, as well as Audre Lorde’s quote: “Without community, there is no liberation.
