About Student Affairs

The Department of Student Affairs for Extended Campuses supports UGA’s academic mission at the Gwinnett, Griffin and Tifton Campuses by providing and supporting programs, services, and resources that enhance the development of the whole student and inspire students’ physical, occupational, social, intellectual, and emotional growth.

The Department of Student Affairs for Extended Campuses is responsible for ensuring Gwinnett Campus students receive programs and services that support success, stimulate learning and promote an environment of growth and civility. We support UGA’s academic mission through our commitment to the development of the whole student by contributing to students’ physical, occupational, social, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth. Specific programs and services include:

  • Student, faculty, and staff identification cards (UGA Card)
  • Testing services, including IDL test proctoring
  • Disability accommodations
  • University and course withdrawals after the midpoint
  • Student leadership, including activities and organizations
  • Fitness activities and wellness information
  • Freedom of expression and on-campus fundraising policies
  • Multicultural programs
  • Student handbook
  • Referral to local crisis resources and counseling agencies
