Bart Rich

Meet Bart Rich!

Bart hails from Florida originally, and he’s in his third year as an English and Psychology double major. In 2011, Bart worked with the Cinematic Arts Division of the University Union, and in that role he has worked hard to bring film to UGA students, including coordinating the Campus Moviefest and the Cinematic Showdown. In addition, Bart works with the Filmmaking Union, which gets student filmmakers involved in production, directing, and screenwriting through a variety of workshops.

Bart encourages incoming students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by University activities; through his work with the University Union, Bart has made many lasting friendships. Bart looks forward to utilizing his degree after graduation by teaching English overseas or working with Teach for America; he’s excited to explore his options.

An innovative and outstanding leader, Bart strives to create the best possible environment for his coworkers and students at UGA. He goes above and beyond, and we’re excited to have him as an Outstanding Student!
