The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs coordinates and facilitates programs and services designed to enhance the overall quality of student life, establish a sense of community, and enable all students to realize their fullest potential. These initiatives contribute to students’ total development and to their physical, occupational, social, environmental, spiritual, and emotional growth.

Staff within the Vice President’s office:

  • Provide administration, coordination, and budgetary supervision for all Student Affairs departments
  • Facilitate collaboration between Student Affairs and Academic Affairs to enhance students’ academic, physical, and social well-being
  • Develop programs that offer students learning opportunities outside the classroom and services that enhance their ability to be successful
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities for Student Affairs personnel
  • Administer Student Affairs private funding initiatives
  • Coordinate Student Affairs planning processes and assessment initiatives that promote success and organizational effectiveness
  • Direct and support research on various aspects of the undergraduate experience
  • Coordinate student crisis management
  • Serve as liaison for the Campus Ministry Association
  • Provide advisement for the Golden Key International Honour Society
